Policies & Rules

We do have a few policies and rules to keep in mind before you book:

Guest Policies & Rules

  • Instant Booking: Guests with a good track record and who send us a pre-booking message can book instantly. Others will need to send a reservation request for approval.
  • Weekly discount (7 days or longer booking): 25%
  • Monthly discount (28 days or longer booking): 50%
  • Check-in window: After 3:00 pm
  • Checkout time: 11:00 am
  • Number of guests: 4 (we can accomodate up to 6 on special request).
  • Cancellation policy: Flexible: Full refund 1 day prior to arrival
  • Long-term stay cancellation policy (28 nights or longer): Flexible: Full refund up to 30 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable.
  • Pets are allowed. You must inform us on the number of pets prior to your stay.
  • Events are allowed. You must inform us of event details prior to your stay. Please be respectful of the property and neighbours. Rambler's Cottage is located on a small, quiet hamlet. It's a great place for walkers, families, and relaxing getaways... it's not the right setting for wild parties or drunk ups!
  • Quiet hours: 10:00 pm - 8:00 am
  • Smoking, vaping, and e‑cigarettes are allowed. You must smoke or vape outside, and dispose of cigarette butts in designated outside containers.
  • Commercial photography and filming are allowed. You must provide commercial details prior to your stay, and we reserve the right to revoke publishing permission.
